Bible Note: I'm not putting down education. I am going to be going to a Bible school but thats not my point. I do not claim I know much about the Bible. People around me will say I do, because I got my nose in the Bible alot. I believe that only thing the school is going to do for me educational wise is give me some new insights. It is not going to be my main place where I learn God's Word. My personal Study sitting down with a Bible has been and always will be my main sorce of information. The School where I will be going is the same one that My pastor went to. Both of us can sit down and learn from each other. I learn just as much from him as he does me. That is how I believe the Bible tells us to learn. I don't believe the bible tells us to go out learn Hebrew/Greek and spend thousands of Dollars so you are qualified to teach. Which is the main reason I am going to go to school is to be "qualifed" Although I don't believe it should be that way but it is. Just a little personal thought something I have noticed the Dr. are very unteachable especcally learning from a layman. That is the trap the Educational system is setting up. If someone can go through School and is still teachable afterwards he has it made. But you rarely see that. And I am a firm Believer in order to teach you must be able to learn. |
