Bible Note: DarcyA Your right there are many educated idiots in this world. But your assertion that someone can read the Bible for 6 months and know more than a person that has a doctorate in theology is incorrect. The one that studied the Bible for 6 months may be better able to apply what he knows, he may be a better Christian but he simply doesn’t know more unless the other person bought his degree. Education is a treasure, one that should be sought after by all, however education is not a substitute for a genuine longing for the Lord, or being lead of the Holy Spirit. God told us to get educated. Paul wrote in scripture to study to show yourself approved. To scoff at education is not the answer the answer is to get an education. EdB |
