Subject: Holy Spirit convicts of sin? |
Bible Note: Hi Mike, I'll get back to you with more, but for now, look at 1 john ch 1, John is talking to believers here as well, and the confession of sin he is dealing with is for sanctification NOT salvation. And to answer the last question; yes! I take my sins to the cross as often as they are made known to me by the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is a joy to know that when we mess up (and we all mess up) God will continue to forgive and sanctify us to be more and more like Him. Being a Christian is a process, it's not a done deal that we are no longer going to mess up from time-to-time. John |
