Personal profile for user screen name: strts5 A little about me. I grew up in a Christian home, however I spent a good portion backsliden partying and doing various drugs, got sober in 2001. I have attended several different churches in my life. Grew up AG, later attended WOF, and now I am a member of a church that has no resemblance to either. We are under the Covenant denomination but exercise some liberty within. Our church believes there are really only three things things that are important. Loving God, Loving the Church, and loving the world... in that order. We believe living and loving like Christ is the best way to live on planet Earth.I am a father of a beautiful little girl. She was born with Transposition of the Great Arteries, a surgically correctable problem. She is doing great while waiting for the corrective surgery after having gone through a temporary surgery (BT shunt). I would appreciate prayers for this as well... I am not looking for sympathy, but I think it is important to be honest with other Christians about what is going on in our lives. I know God created the Church for a purpose, and that is to support each other.
