AMPLIFIED 2015 | 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], [Dan 7:25; 8:25; 1 Tim 4:1] |

Bible Note: Greetings M. Royal I agree and that's what Scripture teaches. Often time’s believers will pull one or two verses out of the Bible and try to elaborate on their few pet verses to establish truth. The fact of the matter is, the truth of God’s word is only established after all the verses on any given doctrine are considered then and only then is the truth know and when it is known, we never stand in judgment of it, it always stands in judgment of us. I believe, but don’t quote me on this, the last part of that statement is a saying from A.W. Tozer. Psalm 119:160 The sum of Thy word is truth, And every one of Thy righteous ordinances is everlasting. CDBJ |
