Bible Note: Brother, I can agree with you here, let me state it this way. When God looks at you and I what does he see? I will gaurantee you this,He doesnt see a Baptist or a catholic or what ever else may be floating around out there He see's his sons and thats what we are.(1John 3:2)I love and value my earthly family more than I can imagine but the bond I have with my brothers and sisters in Christ by far transends anything I may have with my earthly fammily unless they too are saved. We as brothers and sisters in Christ have a bond that can never be broken by anything this world might throw at us.So whether we are a block apart or miles apart there is no reason we shouldnt be working together fo the common good.(The furtherance of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ) Now as for this view point being narrow I dont know.Jesus focus was narrow when it came to how people were going to come into a relationship with God and how they were going to get to heaven.Jesus stated narrow is the gate to heaven and broad is the path that leads to destruction. Our Lord made no acceptions and neither can we when it comes to winnig the lost. Bro I've never had much use for denominational religion so when it comes to my brothers and sisters in Christ I'm seeing family. I hope I'm making more sense now. In Christ, lionheart |
