Bible Note: Searcher The point I'm trying to make is in some cases with submit to authority and in others we don't. For an example and let us use a “major” doctrine. If a denomination believes a certain way and you agree you align yourself with that denomination. If however in the future that denomination changes that view or perhaps you change yours. You either remains aligned to the denomination changing your view or shoving it into the background, saying I chose to stay in submission. Or you leave going to a new denomination saying I'm not convinced by scripture therefore the denomination is error and I must find one that is correct. However we never use the words I'm in rebellion. We in effect justify our actions. But is it true justification or is it human justification. God said to be in submission to those "HE" placed over you. EdB |
