AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ephesians 1:4 just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love |

Bible Note: Joe, Thank you for your comments and interest in the topic. In answer to your question "Please explain this anointing...what exactly is it, and where is the Scriptural support for your view of what it is? " I posted this verse and refer to that which the verse states. 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. This is a foundational promise for all believers and gives us great confidence in growing in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even as we listen to teachers. I appreciate your concerns in clarifying that all reformed preaching is not as I have discribed and of course I agree. There are men of God in probably every type of denomination that are greater in faith and maturity than I. And as God has given each of us light we must walk in it by faith and with our whole heart. God bless you all! |
