NASB | 1 Corinthians 15:27 For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 15:27 For HE (the Father) HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS (Christ's) FEET. But when He says, "All things have been put in subjection [under Christ]," it is clear that He (the Father) who put all things in subjection to Him (Christ) is excepted [since the Father is not in subjection to His own Son]. Subject: Where can we go online to read the NWT? |
Bible Note: Retxar, in the wake of your question about where to find the New World Translation on line, I searched but could not find the complete text. There are snippets on some of the web sites that can be accessed by typing in _Watchtower_ or _Jehovah's Witnesses_. Here's a tip that you might find useful. If there are thrift stores such as Salvation Army or Goodwill in your area, you may find a copy in their used book section -- or try some used bookstores. I'm a book collector, so I poke around these outlets quite frequently and routinely see copies of NWT. I bought a used copy (hardcover, green binding) several years ago at a Goodwill outlet, even though it was quite expensive. It cost me a whole dollar. But no sales tax. That was a break! --Hank |
