NASB | 1 Corinthians 15:27 For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 15:27 For HE (the Father) HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS (Christ's) FEET. But when He says, "All things have been put in subjection [under Christ]," it is clear that He (the Father) who put all things in subjection to Him (Christ) is excepted [since the Father is not in subjection to His own Son]. Subject: Where can we go online to read the NWT? |
Bible Note: Hi Retxar! May I suggest you find a copy of the WTS's New Interlinear Translation of the New Testament, in addition to the NWT. The Interlinear edition is an EXCELLENT source to help JW's see how the WTS has deliberately mistranslated the Greek text to fit it's own doctrines. That translation is probably THE most damaging publication the WTS has ever produced. It clearly reveals the lengths they've gone to to mistranslate the Greek text and proprogate their heretical teachings. If you're not able to find a copy at a thrift store, you could possibly order one from the WTS, go to a local Kingdom Hall and buy one, or contact the many Christian organizations online which have a ministry to JW's. Blessings to you, Mrs. B in Georgia |
