NASB | 1 Corinthians 15:27 For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 15:27 For HE (the Father) HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS (Christ's) FEET. But when He says, "All things have been put in subjection [under Christ]," it is clear that He (the Father) who put all things in subjection to Him (Christ) is excepted [since the Father is not in subjection to His own Son]. Subject: Where can we go online to read the NWT? |
Bible Note: Thanks Hank, I’ll check out those thrift stores. I am a regular at the local Goodwill store! Maybe NWT stands for "Not Wanted Translation"! Anyway, I guess a question that only the JWs could answer would be if the NWT is the shining light that reveals God's truth to mankind, why is it keep hidden? Also He said to them, "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear." (Mar 4:21-23) Gods chosen intentionally suppressing His Word? I don't think so! retxar |
