Subject: Do our works keep us saved? |
Bible Note: Emmaus I agree John 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. This passage clearly states not bearing fruit is reason to cut from the tree. We can argue all day the chicken and egg scenario, (truly saved, worked based, etc) but the fact remains a truly saved person will have fruit (works) in their lives. Faith without works is dead, in other words you can can believe in Jesus and salvation all you want but until you put legs to it it is nothing more than a concept. EdB |
