Subject: The Suffering of the Church |
Bible Note: Hi all, Let me clarify. When this dispensation is over and we enter into eternity with Christ will there be any suffering? Why not? There is suffering in this life as a result of a fallen world, and we as Christians must endure it. The difference between a Christian and non-Christian, we both endure suffering, only God strengthens the Christian through suffering. Do we learn from suffering and grow stronger in our faith if we persevere, absolutely. The statement I was making is that the suffering is not from God. Suffering is already in this world, God allows us go through suffering, but suffering in itself is a byproduct of sin and death and that is not from God. As Christians we are supposed to triumph over suffering and learn patience that God will make us victorious over it. So, I will stand by my statement, ALL SUFFERING IS EVIL!!! ISAIAH 48:10 NKJ 10 Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. JAMES 1:2-3 NKJ 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. |
