Hello

My name is David. I was saved at the age of 21 in August 1998. I was greatly helped shortly after I was saved by reading a missionary book called Through Gates of Splendour which I'm sure many of the forum users are aware of. I remember reading to the end of the book with tears and longing to know God as I felt the martyrs in that book knew God!

I am single at present but not for much longer God willing as I plan to be married in September 2009 to Jennie, the girl I believe God has provided for me by His grace.

I love to study the Word of God although I find that time really must be prioritised to do so, between church activity, work responsibilities etc.

I believe absolutely that the Bible is the very Word of God. It is "God-breathed" and "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works". I am glad to find a forum which seems to have the same belief on that score!

I live in Northern Ireland and gather with a few Christians "unto the name of the Lord" in a non-denominational bible believing church which has proved to be a great spiritual home.

Yours in the Lord

David

**Hello again - I decided to do an update on my profile to confirm that now I am married to Jennie and am home from honeymoon and back to work. I've missed the forum for a while but hope to keep an eye on it again as I'm thankful for the spirit in which most of the contributions are made and I'm constantly amazed at how some contributors give so much of their time to help others on it!

Yours in Him

David
