Bible Question:
Once Saved; always Saved. I've believed in this since I am Saved. I believe that Christ will take you home before you fall into oblivion. Isn't there scripture to depict this? I allude to where I believe Paul writes that "...neither death nor principalities. . .shall take you from my hand." So, based on this premise, I believe in total Salvation; not saying that we can now go out and commit murder/adultery and etc... Can you please elucidate and edify? Much appreciate bothering you with my issue - just have the burning/hunger for Christ. Very Respectfully, J.D. |
Bible Answer: Brother J.D, God is our onlt ture source of strenght. And if you seek his direction, He will surely give it to you. Once saved...always saved is dependant on you live to him. If we sin, yes we are and can be forgiven and He will renew us in his love. But please understand to turn from God and expect to be taken up when yur time comes is not so. I'am the one that replied to your question earlier and gave you Ezekiel and 2 Peter and 2 Corinthians. I only for got to add my name to the end. Be encouraged...as long as you remain IN GOD and do not turn from him "yes you will be saved" but remember Ezekiel 18:20-32. If we are to forfive 7 times 70 as scripture says...then how much more would God forgive us...MUCH MORE. But it is a repentive heart that God wants. Repentence for the wrong we have done....not that we got found out. Godly sorrow worketh repentence not to be repented of.....2 Corinthians 7:9-10, that is the repentence God will except and forgive. I pray you seek out God and live for Him all the days of your life. He is a GOOD God and faithful andjust to forgive us. God Bless, Sister D |
