Bible Note: Greetings Searcher! While the phrase may not actually be found in Scripture, what Biblical principle is violated by saying 'I lift up your name'? :-) I don't believe that God has any problem with us telling people about who He is and what He has done! :-) But, I do agree that this is not the sense in which John uses the phrase 'lifted up'.
