Subject: Is lifting His name related to this vs? |
Bible Note: Searcher56: Thats a good question. Are you speaking of this verse or the bible in general? I dont see it in this verse but I do find it in the bible. Lift- To project or sound in loud, clear tones: Lift-To uplift; elate: Lift-The act or process of rising or raising to a higher position. KJV 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 13. It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord; 14. So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. KJV Isaiah 24:14-15 14. They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea. 15. Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea. KJV Isaiah 40:9 9. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! KJV Isaiah 42:11-12 11. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. 12. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands. God Bless |
