Subject: ever neccessary/permissable to deceit? |
Bible Note: tomsweetstir Let me add this. There are times when silence or an indirect answer is wisdom. I'm not sure that is deception but rather knowing when to not tell everything you know. I also want you to know I appreciate missionaries and the work they do. Most have gone through things many of us hope never to experience. My hat is off to each and everyone of them. I hope you did not feel I'm jumping on you. I was trying to clarify that there is a difference between waging war and sharing the gospel and just because something is acceptable in war doesn’t readily justify it in spreading the gospel. I was also trying to clarify that because God is omnipresent and omniscient and knows the results before the action does not mean God moves in deceit. God is sovereign and His will, will be done.
