Bible Question:
in NIV: Whatever exists has already been named, and what man is has been known; no man can contend with one who is stronger than he. in NLT: Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny. does this mean that God controls everything? Does he know what is going to happen and let it fall into place that way? Do we have any say in our own destiny? Can we change the future? what does this verse even tell us about the character of God? please do not answer if you are unsure. |
Bible Answer: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. Samantha432; What I want you to hear from this is that God loves you, has sacrificed His own son to die a horrific death to pay for your sins and mine, if I was the only one on this earth that sinned He would have come to save just me. Because He loves me that much. And He loves you that much, He loves you enough to die, to bleed, to put that burn in your heart to know him. All you need to do is believe that He loves you, and died for you, and pray to him for forgiveness and confess that you are a sinner and need for him to come into your heart and be your lord and savior. |
