Bible Question (short): "seal of God" |
Question (full): Could it be that the 7th-day Sabbath, written by the finger of God in the 10 commandments be a part of that "seal of God in their foreheads" (Rev 9:4)?? why forehead? because the commandments are incorporated into our thoughts. This includes the 4th commandment: "Remember..." why? because this is the one that people WILL forget. In Deuteronomy 6:6,8 states a parallel similar to this about the commandments "And these words which I command thee this day shall be in thine heart. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes." This is in context to 10 commandments stated in Deut 5:7-21. The frontal portion of the brain that this text refers to is the decision-making part of the brain. Not only does this text state the head but also the hand referring to the actions which are primarily done with hands. here are a couple more key texts: Proverbs 7:1,3 states "keep my words and lay up my commandments within thee. Bind them upon thy fingers write them upon the tablet of thine heart" 2 Corinthians 3:3 states "For asmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. Revelations 14:12 "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Romans 10:17 "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" |
