Bible Note: Hi Tim, Sorry, but I'm having a hard time following your train of thought. you began with Rom. 5:18 - "Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men." I replied by stating that my reading of the text led me to believe that "all" reffered to all kinds of men, since not all men (universily) are justified. That only those men who are in Christ have attained justification. I suggest that our presuppositions may make it difficult to reconcile this issue. Hoppy |
