Subject: An interesting discussion/question |
Bible Note: Hello CDBJ (what does that stand for?), Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I assume this will do for the definition of faith. As it is used in Eph 2:8-9, Our salvation comes through our faith. Much like Hebrews 11 mentions of the OT believers. They believed God and it was credited to them as righteousness. Not sure if I have answered your question thoroughly. If not, let me know. Faith in more than one object...I am not sure if I understand you correctly. If what you are asking is if one thinks that faith in Jesus plus faith in someone/something else is ok, then I would probably say no. We have to believe God, all else is meaningless. Have I answered you, or did I miss the point? jamison |
