Subject: Is there middle ground? |
Bible Note: Sir Pent I repent. Yes I was being sarcastic. Lionstrong is a dye in the wool won't listen to any thought Calvinist and I was merely saying I wasn't going there. My point is like Charis' I can see both sides. I understand both sides and I agree with both sides. I see God sovereign enough to give us choice. In other words God has us on a path of life to which God brings us to forks, at each fork we have the choice to go left or right, God knows which we will take, either path will accomplish all God desires and take us to the next fork the only difference is the lessons we learn on the way. My point which Lionstrong so clearly missed was scripture does not conflict. Both sides have use valid scripture, however both sides conclusions are in conflict so we have to assume that since the scripture never conflict the conclusions drawn from them must be incorrect. Lionstrong wants to insist the Arminian perspective is scripture is wrong and Calvanist is right. I’m saying they are both wrong scripture simply doesn’t say what either sides claims it does. To a dye in the wool Calvinist or Arminianist that is nigh unto heresy so what is the point of continuing this discussion hence my sarcastic copulation. EdB |
