Subject: Asking the original question again? |
Bible Note: Greetings Elijah, I find great fault with what you have written, and this is not the first time that I have dealt with this issue here at this Forum. The reasoning in your post does not hold up to the standard of Scripture, and I say that in this regard: In no way can you prove (through Scripture) that there is ANY connection, whatsoever, with Jude 6, Genesis 6:4 and 2 Peter 2:4.. You are adding an interpretation to these verses THAT IS NOT THERE to begin with. As for your allusion to Christ being the Son of God, your post simply does not make any sense at all. Here is some Scriptural information regarding angels: They are immortal (Luke 20:36), Do not marry (Matt. 22:30; Luke 20:35), they are spirits (Hebrews 1:14), they are Without Power to Reproduce after their kind (Mark 12:25), they are distinct from human beings (Ps. 8:4-5). I have anticipated the Scripture that you would possibly use to support your argument, and I have found that anticipation to be correct. Using the Scripture that you have cited, there is absolutely no way that you can "prove" your point of view using Scripture alone. Therefore, you must re-examine your point of view based upon Scripture. You may want to search the Archives for the other posts that have been written on this subject, including my own. Blessings to you, Makarios |
