Subject: I unerstand, but that's not my question |
Bible Note: "No doubt about it, gracefull, the two resurrections, Christ's and the believers', stand or fall together. If there is no resurrection, then Christ is dead, our faith and our preaching are empty, and we are false witnesses of God. That's not my opinion, it's what Scripture clearly said in the passage you cited, viz., 1 Corinthians 15:16-18. But we have every reason to believe and not a single one to doubt that Christ rose the third day according to the Scriptures and that the Risen Lord showed Himself to many infallible witness. The shouts of the first-century believers resound in our ears still and we can join in their chorus with the same assurance the eyewitness had, "He is risen! He is risen indeed." Praise His Holy Name! --Hank" Amen! Amen! Amen! God bless |
