Dear jlpangilinan, Searcher56 can't be taken serious. He obviously doesn't study the Scripture, but reacts to whatever is said. The people of Israel WERE 'baptized into Moses' having water above and to the side (1 Cor. 10:1,2). Their baptism is a type of Christian baptism: which is Paul's point in the Corinthian letter. If Searcher spent a little more time studying before responding, he would recognize his error. With Noah in 1 Peter 3:20, the connection of water in Noah's day to water of baptism goes completely over his head. From now on, Searcherer56 will talk to the air. No responses to him. Thanks for the comments, Disciplerami |

Disciplerami, There are people saying they dont like the music, but afterwards saw them dancing in the said music. If searcher56 really against water baptism, then he against the teaching of Christ, if then they obseving water baptism in thier congregation, he maybe dance in the music that he didnt like. Water baptism indeed is commandment of Christ why keep attacking it.: Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. He said that why hard to us to just follow it. Christ subject Himself to be baptized by John, I dont think Christ will do that if it is not important. Mt 3:13 ¶ Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. Do they think just do that for nothing? What do yout think. Bible written not to subject by reader conscluions, but to believed it. God bless, |

I agree. Searcher56 protests too much. He doesn't realize that his argument isn't with me. He is arguing against Jesus Christ. "He who believes and is baptized shall be saved, he that believes not shall be condemned." (Mk 16:16). 1 Peter 3:21 says that Noah was brought safely through the water AND that baptism saves us....it saves us through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Good talking to you. God bless, Disciplerami |

Scripture ... Act 10:44-48, 1 Cor 2:14, 12:3-11, 27-30), 14:1-5 ... Cornelius and Company were saved before they were baptized in water (Act 10:44-48). The gift of tongues is given to the believer (1 Cor 12:3-11 (vs 10), 27-30 (vv 28, 30), 14:1-5). They were praising God, which unbelievers can't do (1 Cor 2:14). Do you want Scriptures? |
