1 | Holy Spirit convicts of sin? | 2 Tim 2:15 | strts5 | 215060 | ||
Can you give me scripture references? I am trying to make up my mind, but I am leaning toward my statement. I want to know where it says we must confess our sins in order to be forgiven, that sounds like works because it is dependent on us. I am absolutely not saying we should continue in sin, only that we are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus regardless of whether we confess. Are you saying we are then unrighteous until we confess each and every sin. That would be like trying to live under the law, then you have to follow the law perfectly and would end up in one continual act of confession. What freedom and joy is there in that where if we forget to confess a sin we are condemned? I think we are all toast then! Have you confessed ALL your sins? Mike |
