Greetings Ed! I forgot to answer your first question. :-) No! I do not beleive that God intended for there to be many interpretations of a single verse. He said what He meant, and meant what He wrote! ;-) If we simply followed the rules of grammar, we would 'usually' only have one interpretation of a verse. I say 'usually' because there are a few verses that are so confusing that no one can say for certain what the verse means. Are problems result when we resort to artifical attempts to change the meaning of words so that we can make the verse mean what we want it to mean.
