Well, Ray, being a Baptist myself, I opt to keep the capital B in John the Baptist. After all, he was, so far as we know, the grand daddy of all Baptists -- sort of our patron saint, as it were. If Emmaus and his brethren can claim Peter as the First Pope, we Baptists should be able to claim John as the First Baptist. I am a member of the First Baptist Church in my home town, which was without doubt named in honor of John the First Baptist. :-) .... P.S. We love wild honey but have never developed a taste for bugs, i.e., locusts. --Hank | ||||||
