Good Morning Can you tell me where the church is described as the bride of Christ? I did a search and this is what I found: Revelation 21:9-10 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, |

2Co 11:2 says, "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." Here, Paul likens the Corinthian church as the Bride of Christ. The Holy Jerusalem is where she will dwell eternally. The passage in Revelation you referred to speaks of the eternal state after all prophecy is fulfilled. | ||||||
