Bible Note: You need a lot of help with tact. Anyway, it was not a custom that Paul was referring to in either his epistle to the Corinthian church or his letter to Timothy. That women were to remain silent was a matter of church conduct. There is not even a hint that this was to go on outside the church--only inside. That means it was church policy and we don't have a right or reason to change it. |
