Hello, I'm back. EdB, you and Kalos seem determined to go on about this forever. But me - I am not. It is all known. If you don't believe me then go back a read - or better, print what was written and compare the quotes if you really must - or in this case, misquotes. If you still don't see well that's the way it goes. I kindly replied to Kalos and then he went crazy searching out all your posts. I personally think that is a little obsessive and frankly don't care if it wasn't anymore. He can stay on his rampage for as long as he likes - but me, I will be here when ya all get over yourselves. Oh, and for the literalist, Kalos - that does not mean all people. Most would understand that. Now as for you EdB, specifically, it is comendable that you feel the need to stand up for Kalos. Maybe, next time it would be better to stay out of it. I really like you and I tried very hard to get you to leave things alone rather than cause a storm because I had already worked out Kalos's reaction. If you think I am attacking fine. I know I am not talking to kids here, but come on. Enough is enough. I have never been so misunderstood and I am not about to respond to it anymore. Did it ever occur to you that you have treated me with disrespect? I bet it didn't. I have witnessed some degree of bullying in this forum and frankly it needs to stop. If you think my Christian nature is not coming through right now then you'd be right. And, for the legalist attitude, go ahead and throw stones. Get a grip guys. |

Deb Again it is my fault, how very big of you. You have been misunderstood tell me how? What is misquoted what is misunderstood. Here is what was said that I first responded to you show me where I misquoted you. 2 Hi JesusFreak Note 1 Cor 14:34 kalos Sat 08/24/02, 12:30am De 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death. De 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. When these verses are read IN CONTEXT it becomes clear that establishing doctrine from the Scriptures is neither the subject nor the application under discussion. For example: "The execution of the idolator could not take place on the basis of hearsay. There had to be at least two valid witnesses against the accused person in order for a case to be established. One witness was not sufficient in a case of this severity; this standard avoided false testimony" (MacArthur Study Bible). 3 Hi JesusFreak Note 1 Cor 14:34 coffee Sat 08/24/02, 12:42am Hello Kalos, Have you noticed the problems this is causing for victims of rape? deb 4 Hi JesusFreak Note 1 Cor 14:34 kalos Sat 08/24/02, 12:55am To: the LORD God From: kalos Subject: Forward "Hello Kalos, Have you noticed the problems..." Dear God: Regarding Your Laws and Commandments where "It is written" in Deuteronomy: "Have you noticed the problems this is causing for victims of rape?" 5 Hi JesusFreak Note 1 Cor 14:34 coffee Sat 08/24/02, 2:44am Karlos, What are you trying to do here? Now tell me where I deserved what you said to me. If you had a lesson here as Melanie claims okay personally to me it was so vague it got lost. In any case I still do not believe what ever you were trying to accomplish here I deserved your retorts. This is to be a Christian forum and quite frankly one Christian does not accuse another of worshipping a third. EdB |
