coffee: My explanation: 1) God wrote it. 2) I quoted it. 3) You had a question about it. 4) I meant to suggest you address your question to the one who WROTE it, not to the one who merely QUOTED it. ------------ 1) God wrote it. De 17:6; De 19:15. 2) I quoted it. (ID 58872) a) My original point: De 17:6; De 19:15. "When these verses are read IN CONTEXT it becomes clear that establishing doctrine from the Scriptures is neither the subject nor the application under discussion." (ID 58872) 3) You had a question about it. "Have you noticed the problems this is causing for victims of rape?" (ID 58874) 4) I meant to suggest you address your question to the one who WROTE it, not to the one who merely QUOTED it. 'To: the LORD God From: kalos Subject: Forward "Hello Kalos, Have you noticed the problems..." Dear God: Regarding Your Laws and Commandments where "It is written" in Deuteronomy: "Have you noticed the problems this is causing for victims of rape?"' (ID 58875) Peace, kalos [not "karlos" :-)] |

Hello Kalos, I know someone by the name of Karlos so it is the first spelling that comes to mind. You have misunderstood me. I was asking you. I know that GOD knows everthing. I was putting a question out to you. And I now understand your intention of the second post - GOD bless you, for it is a natural response as you did not realise it was you I was asking. Thanks deb |
