It was originallypublished in 1912 I believe. http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/04651a.htm I would also like to gently point out that there were vernacular translations of the bible done by Catholics before the Reformation. And when the bible was first translated into Latin, even before the time of Jerome it was because Latin was the vernacular language of the West and those who could read, read Latin. Emmaus |
