Luke 16 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:" Until Christ, there was no true redeption available to man..only the faithful 'looking forward' Hebrews 11:13 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. gracefull, yes thanks! your reply helped me alot, but i still have one lingering question. i understand that the blood of animal sacrafices cannot take away the sins of the people, however, does this mean that their sins just go unpunished? Does God not judge these people based on their "righteousness" or how they obey the commandments? or do they not get judged at all? thanks again. | ||||||

May I interject ... Rev 20 and other passages talk about this ... we will be judged based on if we acceted Jesus, or not. | ||||||
