AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 3:25 whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus' crucifixion]. |
Bible Question (short): still unpunished? |
Question (full): gracefull, yes thanks! your reply helped me alot, but i still have one lingering question. i understand that the blood of animal sacrafices cannot take away the sins of the people, however, does this mean that their sins just go unpunished? Does God not judge these people based on their "righteousness" or how they obey the commandments? or do they not get judged at all? thanks again. |
