1 | The Suffering of the Church | Acts 8:2 | strts5 | 217634 | ||
Everyone, All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. I am teachable, and I feel I have misspoke. There is discipline from God which may seem to be suffering while it lasts. I think I could take the conversation into semantics and say there would be no discipline without sin (evil) but while in this life both will continue. I made a blanket statement and I will concede and accept correction. In Him, Mike |

God's day to you, Mike, I commend you. I need to be willing to change, even after being a Christian for 53 years - only 13 birthdays as a believer (02/29/1956). I even made an adjustment in my thought about 2 months ago. I encouage to study the verses and context provide to you on this matter. Both tradition and trends can be wrong. Searcher |
