Hi terrib, You pretty well covered the topic of annointing:-) From my study and perspective here's a few points I'd add: 1. According to 2 Cor. 1:21, "Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God". The action is a (past tense) completed one done by God toward the believer. So, I see all believers as having been anointed. 2. I don't see any biblical support for further or "re-annointing". Just as the kings and priests were once annointed, so are we. 3. I venture to say that "teachers" like Ken Copeland and others take the term and use of annointing way beyond its' biblical intent. In those circles its' almost a mantra bandied about and (mis)used in such a way as to imply some sort of spiritual superiority over others. Those are my thoughts on this matter.
