There is a section in the Sign that talks about the restoration period. It is a period of time that is revealed in the book of Daniel which teaches that there will be a thirty-day period that comes right after the seventieth week of Daniel. It is taken from Daniel12:11 which speaks of the 1290-day period. Daniel 12:11 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. There are 1260 days that starts with the first day of the abomination of desolation, which is in the middle of the seventieth week until a complete destruction. Daniel 9:27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him." The 1260 days ends when Antichrist is destroyed as seen in chapter 19 of Revelation. The break down is as follows, 3 ½ X 360, day in the Jewish year, comes out to 1260 and a 30 day restoration period makes it 1290. Verse 12 says, Daniel 12:12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days. There is another period of 45 day immediately before the Millennium begins. Those that make it through to the 1335 days will enter the Mill. and as a result will be blessed. This is just a thumbnail sketch of what is written in the book on pages 383, 392 and 451.
