1 | Taleb, When did the Son of Man appear? | Matt 24:1 | Taleb | 78279 | ||
"But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." The tribulation is literal and so is the sky activity. Searcher, are you "cancelling" the evidence of Psalms 148, amongst too many other Scriptures? :) I doubt if that's what you mean, right? More on your good comments later. Respectfully, Taleb |

Scripture ... Psa 148:1-6; Mat 5:18, 24:35; 2Pe 3:10; Rev 21:1 ... Taleb ... Do these NT passages contradict Psalms 148? Matthew 5:18 is also seen in Luke 16:17 ... Matthew 24:35 in Mark 13:31 and Luke 21:33 All the NT passages say that heaven and earth will pass away. I read in Psalms 148:6, "He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away." I believe that it is only His decree that will not pass away. Look at verse 4, where it talks about "the waters that are above the heavens". These were separated from the waters below (Gen 1:7) and it was part of the flood (Gen 7:11) and is no more. Searcher |
