Sorry if I offended you about the fear thing. I was just taking your words and responding to them. Glad to know you fear no man and reverence our Father. Does scripture teach that the suffering of his children brings glory to GOD our Father? If so, I have no other choice but to believe that 'the suffering the young woman experienced was a means by which God glorified Himself'. I know the bible talks about the sufferings that Jesus went thru and it talks about the fellowship of his sufferings. I just have to find those and read them to see if they indeed support the statement that 'suffering brings GOD glory'. If you know of scriptures that support the above statement, please share. Thanks for your quick response. Oh, btw, that's Sister MBooker :) |

Dear Sister Booker, My apologies Sister (I actually feel a little embarassed!). Rom 8:23 "And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body." Rom 8:17 "and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him." I would like to continue to discuss these matters with you, but must return to my job. God Bless Sister M., Brother John |
