One more time What makes your doctrine a doctrine of demons - is the fact that it removes the blame from Satan and removes the blame from us - and places it squarely on God! Which is a lie! And then your doctrine twists scripture to support that lie. God is a GOOD God! And ONLY good - all the time! He is now and He always has been. And if ANYBODY tells me different - they are perpetuating a lie of the devil! I don't care HOW 'pretty' or 'religious' you make it sound or how you weave it into other teachings. Now, DON'T write me any nasty, venomous letters citing how many degrees you have, how many letters you have after you name and how many years you have been "in the way." And I'm sorry! I'm truly sorry - that after all the time, expense and expended energy that you still don't know any better! And yes, I know that I have just messed up some of your best sermons - but it's time that this doctrine was shown up for what it really is! A destructive lie! Suffering Doctrine! A little strong you say? A little sharp you say? Jesus called the religious leaders of his day - "vipers," "snakes in the grass," "sowers of stumbling blocks," "hypocrites," "fancy graves full of rotten bones." Why? Because THEY should have known better! Now you have been informed, reformer! |

Well, since you have run out of pseudo-Scriptural arguments, I see we have turned to the emotional response! Let's look: "What makes your doctrine a doctrine of demons - is the fact that it removes the blame from Satan and removes the blame from us - and places it squarely on God! Which is a lie! And then your doctrine twists scripture to support that lie." First of all, you have completely failed to show how I have "twisted Scripture." In fact, when I posted a myriad of passages (in our last go-around on your false teaching) which show indeed how God allows human suffering of His children for His own glory, you completely IGNORED those passages. It is you who are playing "snip, snip" with the text of Scripture, and your venomous railings against me doesn't change that fact one bit. Sin, sickness and physical death are the result of the curse brought on us by Adam and Eve. Sin and physical death did not disappear after the resurrection and Pentecost. But you say that sickness can. With no biblical support whatsoever that God desires every believer to be physically well. With dozens of Scriptures that point to the contrary. You have to add extrabiblical notions into Philippians 2 to make it fit your schema. Who is the one twisting Scripture here? "God is a GOOD God! And ONLY good - all the time!" Sure He is, but your conception of of a good God seems to be a nice, cozy one that wants to pamper His children, rather than to make them grow to be like His only-begotten. That isn't the God of the Bible. If God is ONLY good, all the time, in the sense that you define good, please explain Job. That's a book in the Bible. You can find it by looking in the table of contents, since you are apparently unfamiliar with the pages of Scripture. 'He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD." Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.' --Job 1:21-22 You wrote: "He is now and He always has been. And if ANYBODY tells me different - they are perpetuating a lie of the devil! I don't care HOW 'pretty' or 'religious' you make it sound or how you weave it into other teachings." Translation: "I don't care how much the Bible supports what you are saying; I'm-not-listening!" (That last clause is meant to be sung). This is my favorite part: "Now, DON'T write me any nasty, venomous letters citing how many degrees you have, how many letters you have after you name and how many years you have been "in the way." And I'm sorry! I'm truly sorry - that after all the time, expense and expended energy that you still don't know any better!" The only one being nasty and venomous is the one who has no other arrows in his quiver in this debate. And what degrees or letters after my name are you talking about? Please let me know, because if I have such credentials, I certainly would like to start making the most of them. But I will say that you are an infant in Christ (if you are truly in Christ at all), and that unteachablity is a big sin. Let's take a look at the book of Proverbs (that's another book in the Bible -- look it up) and see how many times a person who rejects sound instruction is called a "fool." You are the prime example of someone who has heard something from someone, thought it sounded real fluffy and nice, and ignorantly refuses to budge from that position no matter how much correction you are given from God's word. The "terrible two's," indeed! You wrote: "A little strong you say? A little sharp you say?" A little strong? I think I can handle strong. It is the "a lot WRONG" part of the rest of your post that is bugging me. "A destructive lie! Suffering Doctrine!" What is evil and destructive is you in your ignorance telling suffering people that it is somehow THEIR fault that they are not healed. It is uncompassionate and blatantly false, and it dishonors much better Christians than you or I who glorify God in their infirmities. You are such a child, thinking that you know it all. Here is what I want you to do in order to broaden your horizons a little (and don't worry, it doesn't mean you have to open your Bible!). Go to the following link: http://www.joniandfriends.org/ Now you will see how a woman who has been a quadriplegic for 30 years has been glorifying God in a way that I never could in my circumstances. See how her ministry to the suffering compares to your rebuke of them. She is much more of an expert on the issue than an impudent child like yourself. If you are feeling enlightened by thet time, you can read her book: _When God Weeps: Why our Suffering Matters to the Almighty_. But since you seem to be comfortable in your ignorance, I am not holding out much hope of you opening your eyes a crack to see anything resembling biblical truth. --Joe! |

Hi Joe, you mentioned, www. Joniandfriends.org, well she was at our church a couple of Months ago and gave us her testimony, it was very impressive how she is being used of the Lord. She sure puts her faith in the Lord and is a shinning and living example of the following verse. 1 Thes. 5:18 (KJV) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. She has surely fulfilled Romans 12:1 with her life. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Those that get off on this healing kick and think that we are all going to be pictures of health are living in a dream world. I just hope for their sakes that the Lord doesn't give them a big dose of reality some day because if he does their faith will be shattered beyond their imaginations. CDBJ |

I am glad that you got to see and hear from her, and I recommend that book that I mentioned before. I truly consider this woman to be a modern-day "heroine of the faith." --Joe! |
