1 | So...what is your theory? | Gen 1:26 | John Reformed | 65750
Dear Zerotheory, You wrote: "Don't you think the ones who don't "worship Him as He is" is because they don't truely believe?" They don't worship God because they are dead to spiritual things pertaining to the God of the Bible. Their eyes are blind, their ears are deaf, their hearts are wicked and they are in active rebellion against God. They are the "children of wrath" just as we were. What they need is not human philosophy but a miracle of regeneration. You said "FORCED" can never replace love. To truely accept God it must come through the heart and mind from love and understanding, NOT FORCE." Please...don't read things into what I wrote which are not warrented by the context. You can force some one by the irrefutable logic of your arguement to concede to your point. What you can not do is change their hearts. That is the work of God alone. You went on to say: "Isn't intellectual debate or "internal" debate the way we all learn to love?" No! People argue all the time to no avail. We learn to love by the power of God operating within us. Our minds are renewed through study of His Holy Word. Isn't intellectual debate or "internal" debate the way we all learn to love? Why did God give you a mind if he didn't want you to use it? God has given us our intellectual powers so that His saints may be in awe of His wisdom and majesty, to the worldly wise their intellects will prove to be a curse. You asked: "How is it a waste of time to help someone discover the will of God. If they are a non-believer then they are searching for true, proof, understanding. It is actually these people who need the most help and are the most willing to accept help if it can be done at their level." If you want to help them discover the will of God then give them the "Word of God" and not fancy theorys designed to expose their erroneous logic. If they are unbelievers it reqiures God's action upon their hearts to bring thm to a desire for Christ. I think that you are a well-meaning christian and your love for the lost is a gift from God. I have spoken as I have in the hope that you will place Scripture foremost as you seek to carry forth the "Great Commission". If you want to see the lost come to Christ, learn to present the gospel. It has the power not us. God Bless, John |

[Quote from John Redeamer]"If you want to see the lost come to Christ, learn to present the gospel. It has the power not us." John, You are correct, the power is in the gospel and the gospel works from the heart. However, there are many people who search for things from their mind and don't open their hearts until their mind says it's okay. All the "ZERO" theory does is help those find, factually, what they are looking for. It is the scripture that they must turn in order to discover all of Gods glory. John, I am going to reveal something to you. I am not knowledgeble of the bible, I am not knowledgeble of science, or mathematics, I don't even have a college degree. Yet, by way of the logic in the "ZERO" theory, I have been able to accept that there truely is a God. It is only because of this logic that I was able to find what I was looking for. No one forced me, no one urged me, no one willed me, as a matter of fact no one even prayed for me. You see, I was more of an athiest then I was a christian but when I, through Gods grace, found the "ZERO" theory I was able to open my heart to what my mind would not allow me to in the past. So when you say things like:"If you want to help them discover the will of God then give them the "Word of God" and not fancy theorys designed to expose their erroneous logic. If they are unbelievers it reqiures God's action upon their hearts to bring them to a desire for Christ." That actually has a negative effect on someone like me because logically, it doesn't add up. There is alot of confusion in the bible as well as misintrepretaions and it is here where people close their hearts. The interesting thing about the "ZERO" theory is that there is no confusion, no misinterpretations, and every language understands it. Everything in the scriptures can be validated and substantiated by the "ZERO" theory. [quote from John]"If they are unbelievers it reqiures God's action upon their hearts to bring them to a desire for Christ". John, where do you think I came up with the "ZERO" theory?(All that is done is done for Him) Why do you think I am willing to share it? |

3 | So...what is your theory? | Gen 1:26 | John Reformed | 65863
Dear Zerotheory, I hope and pray that you will understand the 3 part message I will be posting to you. Read it carefully and ask God to open your eyes to see His way of salvation. WHAT IS GOD LIKE? The Bible’s message begins with God. The Bible does not argue God’s existence – it simply states it, assuming that man knows that God exists. In fact, the Bible says that the created universe around us is sufficient to demonstrate the existence of God. The Bible says there is only one God. He is the Creator of all that is. He is not a part of creation, but is distinct from creation, for He existed prior to the created universe, and was under no compulsion to bring the universe into existence. God is spirit and has always been – He never “started” at some point in time. He is eternal. Because God has created all things, and because God Himself is personal and creates with a reason, then all things have purpose and meaning. God is holy. He is the absolute standard of goodness itself – there is nothing evil or corrupt in God. Because He is holy, He must punish evil. God is personal – in fact, the Bible tells us that God is tri-personal; that is, that the one being of God is shared by three eternal persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This would be contradictory if we said that God was one being and three beings, or one person and three persons, but as long as one remembers that being and personality are different things, the Bible’s teaching is quite clear. And, though it is one of the greatest mysteries of all, we are told that God is loving, merciful, and kind – and that despite man’s rebellion against Him! THE PROBLEM WITH MAN One of the main problems with man is the fact that he refuses to see himself as God sees him. God has given us guidelines by which we can see if we are “functioning” properly. Many of these guidelines have to do with how we behave – such things as that we should worship only the one true God, that we should not murder or commit adultery, steal or lie. The Bible wraps up all of these commandments by giving us the highest standard – “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Any honest individual, when faced with God’s standard, will admit to falling short. The Bible calls this rebellion, or sin. All have sinned – none can escape that charge. Sin separates from God, and as God is the source of all life, the result of sin is death – both physical death on this earth as well as spiritual death – alienation from God both now and in eternity. God’s wrath is revealed against sin, and hence against sinners. Man, separated from God, even while physically alive, is spiritually dead, incapable even of seeking after God. Man, on his part, tries desperately to escape encountering the Holy God. He does this by suppressing the truth that he can see all around him. He becomes self-centered and self-seeking, turning the worship that should belong to God inward upon himself or upon some other created object. Every conceivable sin finds its origin in the condition of man as sinner. Continued |
