1 | An interesting discussion/question | Romans | Morant61 | 205134
Greetings Hoppy! I would concur, Jesus was 100 percent successful in accomplishing His mission. One man died for all! Rom. 5:18 - "Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men." Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Tim, "all men" often means all "kinds" of men. Given the fact that not all men are justified, I am strongly inclined to the latter definition. Hoppy |

Right not all men are justified only those covered by the blood of Christ Jesus. Since you and I don't know who the elect are we must take the gospel to the ends of the earth don't you think. We will leave those who don't hear to the Most High God who is righteous in all His ways and character. Our part is to take His invitation to "Come to Jesus" in the power of the Holy Spirit. Would you agree?

Val, I agree. Our part is to proclaim the gospel. God and God alone alone knows whom He has chosen. Hoppy |
