Hello John, Heb 11 vs 5 indeed says Enoch was translated so that he would not see death and vs 13 clearly says all these died which included Enoch The word translated (NKJ) version according to Strongs concordance means to transport, carry over, remove etc. It nowwhere says Enoch was taken to heaven. God also removed Elijah with a fiery chariot only to die later. God also had Moses's go to the top of a Mt. and God burried his body there so that nobody would find it. Jesus said no man has ascended to heaven. As in Adam all die.... As to what happened to Enoch I could only speculate that God moved/transported him so that he would not see death at that time. Maybe someone was going to murder him. Possibly somthing to do with Cain's or Lamech's situation. Gen 5:23 says all Enoch's days were 365 years. That's about all I know about Enoch. My name is Steven :) peace ps: I really need to go to sleep now. | ||||||

Colt, Good day to ya. In light of Heb 11:5 how does this compare with with what is said in th OT about Enoch and Elijah. It's not stated that either one of them saw death. In Him, lionheart |
