jcsav ::: Man's salvation does not depend upon "having all the answers" as you put it. It never has. Nor is it true that the church no longer exists because the church doesn't "have all the answers." It never did. Your premise is flawed or your reasoning is flawed, or both. Christians individually or Christians corporately as the church do not "have all the answers" to everything concerning God and His universe for the obvious reason that God has not revealed everything there is to know. But from what He has clearly revealed we can be assured that salvation comes by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and from no where else (Ephesians 2:8; Acts 4:12). Moreover, we know that the Lord adds to His church those who are being saved (Acts 2:47); thus we have blessed and absolute assurance that the church continues to exist. Thank God we need not have "all the answers." If this were so, no one would ever be saved. Salvation is not nor has ever been a matter of denominations "having all the answers." Salvation is wholly of God; it is "the gift of God" as Ephesians 2:8 clearly lays it down. It is being regenerated, born again, and only God can do that for us: we are powerless and every denomination is powerless to do it for us, no matter how many answers we have to how many questions. --Hank

Hi, Steve. So you're in Birmingham? My dad was born and raised in them thar parts. Good country. My dad used to say they was two differences betwixt Southern Gentlemen and Northern Gentlemen. First, thar's a heap more of the Southern ones than the Northern ones. And second, it may take the Southern Gentleman longer to say something, but he says it kinder and it's worth saying. Hope you enjoy Birmingham. --Hank
