I believe I turned some away because of my zeal. Not that what I did was in vain but I've learned since that only Jesus Christ can draw someone to the Father and all I am to do is sow and plant seed. I try hard to make myself available to my Father that when opportunities present themselves that I would be ready. That God would prepare the mind and heart of those I am to speak to.
