Ask God for wisdom. His word says He will give it to you liberally (James 1:5) We must ask, seek and you will find. His desire is that all men be saved and to come to the knowlege of the truth (1Tim 2:3,4) So the thing that's on your heart is God's desire!! Cry out to Him brother and keep studying His word. God bless you, chris4him
6 | Is it so hard to believe Jesus | Luke 6:46 | chris4him | 141092
It stems from the gifts our Father has bestowed on the church. (Eph 4:11-13). The problem is some aren't called to the ministry and aren't hearing from God to instruct the body. So the body isn't growing into the perfect bride God is waiting for. And because of the hipocracy sheep have wandered and have no covering and then are deceived. God is raising up Pastors in these last days who here His voice and will build up the body with knowledge and understanding (Jer 3:15). It's our job to find these men of God and submit to their authority and calling, not being blind but having the Word of God and the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth. (Acts 17:11 ; John 16:13)
7 | Aren't we in the age of GRACE? | Rom 8:28 | chris4him | 141083
Hi, we are living in an age of grace, Jesus came and died for your sins so you could go to heaven. What's going on in the world (natural catastrophies ect..) is not God's doing. He didn't bring sin into the world, we did and seperated ourselves from Him. This is why He needed to send a Savior to deliver us from our sins. Because we obviously can't do it ourselves. The age of grace is a time in which we are given the opportunity to accept what Jesus did while He was here on the earth (lived a sinless life, dying on the cross and rising from the dead). Fulfilling the requirements of the law and making a way for us to get to heaven. We're dead in our sin without Him. (Rom 6:3) but if we receive Him (the gift from God) we can have eternal life. We're not saved by our works but they will follow those who believe (Eph 2). We're not saved by our works but without them our faith is dead (book of James). We need not be afraid if we're in Christ, He gives us the strength to endure. We live a sheltered life here in the United states many Christians are martyred each day in Africa and in many Middle east countries (Voice of the Martyres.com). So if the state of the world worries you, Jesus told us this would happen (Matt 24). Call out to Him and He will give you peace. He is our comforter and redeemer and if we are believers we need to let others know. |
