Actually this is serious problem because it differs from what Paul taught and Paul said if any one comes to you with a different Gospel let them be accursed. EdB |

I assume you wrote this before you realized that I am "Oneness". Must, see our Gospel as being against what Paul taught. But, Yes, we see it as serious too.

Perhaps there is too much attack and division and not enough looking for what we do hold in common. I'm totally convinced no one denomination or group has all the answers. In fact I think most are as far off track as they claim the others to be. I'm not sure God is real happy with what we call theology or at least what we have made it into. While we stand and debate our points of "non" compromise the rest of the world watches on with confusion, disappointment and an eventual rendezvous with hell. I know many will take exception with my statement but I remind everyone to what Jesus did say. Luke 9:50 (NKJV) 50 But Jesus said to him, "Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side." EdB |

If one group or denomination do not have all the answers. Then that mean that the Church that Christ gave his blood for, no longer exist upon the face of the Earth. But, instead, the doctrine have been scattered among all the denominations. And each one may have only a fragment, of the Truth. Jesus did say, upon this Rock, I build my Church and all the gates of hell shall not previle against it. Didn't he? Can anyone be saved with only a fragment?
7 | Confused | 1 Tim 2:12 | Hank | 146829
jcsav ::: Man's salvation does not depend upon "having all the answers" as you put it. It never has. Nor is it true that the church no longer exists because the church doesn't "have all the answers." It never did. Your premise is flawed or your reasoning is flawed, or both. Christians individually or Christians corporately as the church do not "have all the answers" to everything concerning God and His universe for the obvious reason that God has not revealed everything there is to know. But from what He has clearly revealed we can be assured that salvation comes by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ and from no where else (Ephesians 2:8; Acts 4:12). Moreover, we know that the Lord adds to His church those who are being saved (Acts 2:47); thus we have blessed and absolute assurance that the church continues to exist. Thank God we need not have "all the answers." If this were so, no one would ever be saved. Salvation is not nor has ever been a matter of denominations "having all the answers." Salvation is wholly of God; it is "the gift of God" as Ephesians 2:8 clearly lays it down. It is being regenerated, born again, and only God can do that for us: we are powerless and every denomination is powerless to do it for us, no matter how many answers we have to how many questions. --Hank

You are right Hank. Sure there is always Truth to line up with more Truth. But any Church that claim to know the Gospel of Christ, Should have enought answers to know how One is to be born again. They should at least know what is the One Faith, One Lord, And One Baptism. They should know what Jesus meant when he said, "You must be born of the Water and the Spirit. How can you have Salvation without the New Birth. And If any Church or Denomination do not have these answers. What good is the answer to other questions. Why even ask?
