Daboniel, Greetings. You stated that ,"....three times when people recieved the Spirit they spoke in tongues, two times they did not. My question is , how did you come to the conclusion that two times they did not, when the Scriptures do not say? | ||||||

Only twice of the ten conversion experiences, In Acts, did the new Christian speak in tongues: -2:41 ... 3,000 saved. The 120 spoke in known languages (2:6 ff) -2:27 ... many daily -4:4 ... 5,000 saved -8:14-17 ... Samaritans -8:34-39 ... Ethopian -9:5-19 ... Paul (tho he spoke in tongues later (1 Cor 13:1)) *10:44-48 ... Cornelius and his house ... they did speak in tongues -16:14-15 ... Lydia -16:31-34 ... jailer and his house *19:5-7 ... about 12 disciples of John ... they did speak in tongues. |

If this was a ball game, then the score would be ten to two. And the ten would win. But, this is not a game. It is the Word of God. And I repeat, the Scriptures do not say that they did not speak. It is silent on the subject. That is not to say, they did NOT speak. And at times those that stood by either "heard" or "saw" when the Holy Ghost was given. How can one hear or see without a "sign"? | ||||||

How do admitting I'll wrong make me more convincing in a discussion of my position? If I said that I was wrong, then I would be a liar and a false witness. I can not honour man and God. | ||||||
